Igreja Medieval de St. Goran (São Jorge), em Visby.
São Jorge era o santo protector dos leprosos e junto a esta igreja construiu-se uma leprosaria. Situavam-se foram dos muros da cidade, devido ao risco de infecção. Medieval church of St. Goran (S. George). He was the patron saint for the leprosy. Next to the church of St. George was a hospital for the leprosy. They were placed outside the city wall because of the danger of infection. No digital software effects. Location: Visby, Gotland, Suécia (Sweden). |
